Who We Are

The Community Welfare Foundation, Inc. (CWF) is a nonprofit, nonpolitical 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2021 by Pakistani Americans in Northern Virginia. Based in Fairfax, VA the Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors and managed by an Executive Administrator. The Foundation serves the immigrant community of the DC Metropolitan Area.

Our Mission

The Community Welfare Foundation promotes the welfare of Pakistani Americans and other immigrants in the DC Metropolitan Area — focusing on those with limited income and support networks who are struggling to thrive — by connecting them to mentorship, public and private community resources, and offering direct support when possible.

Our Vision

A future where immigrants across the DC Metropolitan Area turn to the Community Welfare Foundation as a trusted source of guidance, connection, and support on their path to stability and success.
